1. Product Overview
The EV220B 6-22 is Danfoss Sensing Solutions' small-size 2/2-way pilot-operated solenoid valve. With a brass body and internal threads G¼ to G1 covering DN6 to DN22, it is designed for small on/off flows of water, oil, compressed air and similar neutral media.
It is a pilot-operated diaphragm (servo) design: the coil lifts the pilot plunger and line pressure drives the diaphragm, so it operates from as low as 0.1 bar working differential across a wide 0.1–20 bar range. The standard function is normally closed (NC): closed when de-energized, open when energized.
Seals are available in EPDM, FKM/Viton or NBR to suit water, oil and neutral gases. Body and coil are ordered separately; coil enclosure reaches IP67. The compact, fast-acting valve suits machine integration, lubrication, pneumatic/hydraulic skids and small-bore water service.
