1. Product Overview

The EV220B 15-50 is Danfoss Sensing Solutions' universal 2/2-way indirect servo-operated solenoid valve. Bodies are available in brass, dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass and stainless steel, with threaded ports G½ to G2 covering DN15 to DN50, for water, steam, oil, compressed air and non-flammable gases.

It is pilot-operated: the coil lifts the pilot plunger and line pressure drives the main piston, so a minimum 0.3 bar working differential is required. A pilot strainer is fitted as standard to protect the pilot orifice, closing time is adjustable, and coil enclosures reach IP67 for demanding conditions.

Normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO) versions are offered, with EPDM, FKM/Viton and NBR seals to match water, hot water, steam, oil and neutral gases. Body and coil are ordered separately.
