TREX2CHPNAWS1S is the Emerson AMS Trex™ Device Communicator, the next-generation handheld field communicator replacing the 475. Built on an embedded Android platform, it configures, trims, diagnoses and maintains smart transmitters, valve positioners and level/pressure/temperature instruments over HART.

By part-number configuration: H = HART application, P = rechargeable Li-ion power module, W = wireless (Bluetooth); the redesigned AMS Trex adds HART over Bluetooth to connect field devices wirelessly and run an expanded app library.
